Terms of Service
v1.1-en · 2026-07-08
1. Purpose
These Terms govern use of ReSPEC ("Service"), a conversation-based strengths-discovery and strengths-report service operated by Potential Labs Inc. ("Company"), and the rights and obligations between the Company and users.
2. Definitions
- "Company": Potential Labs Inc., which operates the Service.
- "Service": all features of the ReSPEC brand, including conversation-based strengths discovery and report generation.
- "User": a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Content": text and files a user enters or uploads through conversation or supplements.
3. Effect and changes
- These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or notified by email.
- Changes are notified 7 days in advance (30 days in advance for material or unfavorable changes).
4. Use of the Service
- Some features (e.g., the strengths-discovery conversation) are available without sign-up; saving/re-opening reports and purchasing require email verification.
- Users must not enter or upload others' information without authorization.
- AI analysis results are for reference; the Company does not guarantee their completeness or accuracy.
5. Prohibited conduct
Users must not: (1) register false information or use others' information; (2) use the Service abnormally (automated scraping, unauthorized API calls); (3) redistribute Service content without authorization.
6. Intellectual property and data use
- IP in Company-created UI, design, code, and prompts belongs to the Company (rights in external AI models belong to their providers).
- Copyright in user Content belongs to the user; the Company uses it only to provide the Service.
- The Company does not use user Content to train external AI models.
7. Payment, delivery, and refunds
- The full report is a paid, one-time digital purchase, unlocked per report. Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates) as the Merchant of Record; Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction.
- The report is delivered immediately upon successful payment (the full version is unlocked). By completing payment, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you waive your statutory right of withdrawal once the report is unlocked (see the Refund Policy).
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
- The Company does not guarantee outcomes (e.g., job offers) resulting from use of the AI analysis and is not liable for such decisions, except as required by law.
8. Service interruption and limitation of liability
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or faults, with prior notice where possible.
9. User research
- The Company may invite users to interviews or surveys to improve the Service.
- Participation is voluntary; declining causes no disadvantage.
- Separate consent is obtained before recording interviews.
10. Account termination and age
Users may withdraw at any time; personal data is destroyed without delay upon withdrawal, except where retention is required by law (see the Privacy Policy). Users must be at least 14 years old.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
This Agreement and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the Seoul Central District Court as the court of jurisdiction. However, matters strictly related to payment processing, billing, taxes, and refunds managed by our Merchant of Record (Paddle) are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and its specified legal jurisdiction.
